Neuro Rehab VR provides a new engaging and innovative solution by immersing the patient in various therapy VR 3D exercises to stimulate their brain and help form new neural pathways to aid in recovery. Neuro Rehab VR has developed several virtual reality therapy exercises that have become a part of the daily therapy plans created by therapists. Neuro Rehab VR’s technology and service includes a data analytics and reporting system that records and generates reports on the progress made by the patients while exercising in the VR environments. Not only have we seen patient satisfaction and engagement, but therapists have observed faster functional improvements over time since integrating the innovative technology into their therapy plans.

I Am a physical therapist and I have been working in The Neuro Rehab Unit with stroke and other brain injury patients’ papulation for over 10 years in Canada, ON.
One of the challenges that we face on daily basis is keeping the patients motivated and positive in conventional rehabilitation methods either in the hospital or at home after their discharge.
This therapeutic VR program is great in the sense that through its interactive fun process keeps the patients involved and motivated in their recovery. They are even able to continue their rehab exercises independently without needing a physiotherapist to be present at all times.
This is Especially helpful considering the covid protocols about limiting the social interaction with various individuals as well as social distancing.
This therapeutic VR program is a cost effective, will be easily accessible and a time friendly program to help the patients maximize their recovery either at the hospital or at home.
Along with other conventional rehabilitation methods; the VR program helps the patients gain back their confidence and independence faster and be able to follow their day to day routine.
Which is always a great goal in rehab.

Reactions from patients regrading Recovery Tech, generally speaking, are that they love it. They really feel that they are a part of their exercise program. They enjoy very much being seen on the screen, watching their performance, being able to chart their progress within the performance. From a clinician’s perspective, what I’m most excited about with Recovery Tech is the ability of a patient to perform within an actual environment a set of specific tasks that are goal oriented. Also, patients in Recovery Tech can take the responsibility in performing the tasks by analysis of what they see on the screen. They perform the tasks and obtain better agility with them and are engaged during their therapy session with this virtual reality exercise. In other words leveraging breakthrough in neuroplasticity!
