53 old-male mechanic presents to the Emergency Department after experiencing left upper/lower extremity weakness and right facial numbnesss while driving. He completed a “lot of housework” over the weekend. In his PMH, borderline hypertension and hypothyroidism were noticed. Brain CT showed evolving right sided ischemic stroke. The cause was Likely HTN combined with strenuous activity duo to moving heavy furniture in the days prior to stroke. After discharging and practicing Recovery Tech VR game-based rehabilitation for 8 weeks left arm weakness resolved and fortunately he returned to work in 3 months.
