Case Presentation #19

The patient is a 65 year old woman who had a plastic surgery 7 days prior. She awoke at 5am and was discovered by her husband to have aphasia and right hemiplegia. She was brought by EMS to the ED. The CTA shows an occlusion of the left MCA stem. After discharge she was referred to rehabilitation clinic where the physical therapist planned combination therapy for her. After eight weeks VR rehabilitation(three times a week) with Recovery Tech serious game named 'The clock and balls' along with conventional rehabilitation ,her motor function improved significantly and fortunately three months later she had almost no neurological deficits..
