The patient is a 28 year old man taken to emergency room by EMS. He collapsed in an episode of presyncope while playing football. In the hospital he noticed could not move his left arm. Brain CT scan confirmed the clinical impression,revealed right side ischemic stroke. The physical therapist referred him to the physiotherapy clinic where he went through an initial assessment process and then started the prescribed course of rehabilitation designed for him. His program included eight weeks conventional rehabilitation along with Recovery Tech virtual reality rehabilitation three times a week, under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist. Fortunately after eighteen sessions satisfactory results achieved and motor function of left upper limb returned to near normal.
